For dry cleaners
Dry cleaning software.
Wash Junkie runs the counter, the floor and the money for a dry cleaning business — one dashboard, priced by what your team does rather than by how many people you employ or how many outlets you open.
Priced per item, because that is how you charge
A dry cleaner prices a coat, not a kilogram. Wash Junkie prices per item, per kilogram, per set or at a flat rate, and you can name your own pricing types over those — “per garment”, “per duvet”, whatever your counter actually says.
So a two-piece suit, a wedding dress at a flat rate and a bag of shirts at a per-item rate all sit on the same order, priced the way you price them, and the total is right without anybody doing arithmetic on a pad.
Every order has a reference, and it is the same reference for everyone
An order gets a short code the moment it is created. It goes on the bag, it is what the customer quotes on the phone, and it is what your team searches for. The letters are chosen so a code cannot be misheard — no I, L, O or U — because the code exists to survive a phone call in a noisy outlet.
Statuses in your words, not ours
Wash Junkie ships 17order statuses and every one of them is yours to rename, recolour or delete. If your counter says “on the rail”, the system says on the rail. These are the words your customers hear, so they should be the words you already use.
Wash Junkie can also text a customer when their order reaches a status — off until you switch it on, and honouring STOP for good when somebody replies with it.
The takings stay yours to see
16 permissions behind 4 editable roles, granted per outlet. The person on the counter can take orders and record payments all day without ever opening a revenue screen, and a cashier at one outlet is not a cashier at the next. More on permissions.
It keeps working when the network does not
Every screen reads from a copy held on the device and every change queues, so an outage is something the counter rides out rather than stops for. Nothing is entered twice when the connection returns. How that works.
What it costs
No monthly plan, no per-person fee, no share of your revenue. Wash Junkie counts the changes your team makes and charges 2 Wash Credits each — a fifth of a US cent. Every new business starts with 10,000 Wash Credits, covering 5,000 changes, and while we are in early access the meter reads zero.
Before you decide. Wash Junkie records what a customer paid; it does not process card payments, and there is no application for your customers to download. The full list is on what Wash Junkie does not do — worth two minutes before you move a business across.
