What Wash Junkie is.
Wash Junkie is management software for laundry and dry cleaning businesses. One dashboard for every order, outlet, staff member, machine and payment — built for the people who run the business, not for the people who send their washing to it.
Who it is for
The person who signs in to Wash Junkie owns or manages a laundry business. That covers a self-serve laundromat, a wash-and-fold operation, a dry cleaner, a pickup-and-delivery service, and the in-house laundry inside a hotel — the four business types an owner picks from when they set up, plus every combination of them.
It suits an operator running more than one outlet particularly well, because access is granted per outlet rather than per business: a cashier at one outlet is not automatically a cashier at the next. It works for a single outlet too, and there is nothing to outgrow — the price does not change with the number of outlets, and neither does the software.
What it is not
Wash Junkie does not wash anything. It is not a laundry service, it does not collect clothes, and a person looking for somebody to clean a suit is in the wrong place. The name previously belonged to a laundry service that collected and delivered washing, and search results still carry traces of it; that business and this software are different things.
It is also not a payment processor. Wash Junkie records what a customer paid you — the amount, the method, the date, against the order — so your revenue reports are right. The money itself never moves through us, and we take no share of it. If you want the full list of what the software leaves to somebody else, we keep one: what Wash Junkie does not do.
What you can do with it
Take an order at the counter and give the customer a reference. Move it through the statuses your business uses — Wash Junkie ships 17to start with, and you can rename, recolour or delete any of them, because they are the words your customers see. Run the Wash House floor: load a machine, watch the cycle, record who ran what. Assign a driver a pickup or a delivery. Keep customer records with history and tiers. Price your services. Read the day’s takings.
Two things are less usual and worth naming. Wash Junkie keeps working when the network does not — every screen reads from a local copy and every change queues and sends itself when the connection returns, so a power cut is an inconvenience rather than a stopped counter. And permissions are real: 16 of them, behind 4 roles that you can edit, so the person on the counter need not see what the business earned.
What it costs
There is no monthly plan, no per-person fee and no tier. Wash Junkie counts one thing — the changes your team makes to your records — and charges 2 Wash Credits for each, which is a fifth of a US cent. Reading anything, running any report and signing in are free and stay free. Every new business is given 10,000 Wash Credits at signup, covering 5,000 changes.
While Wash Junkie is in early access the meter reads zero. The counts on your Billing & usage page are real, but nothing is taken from your Wash Credit. The rate above is what we would charge when we switch it on, published in advance so it does not land as a surprise. See the pricing page.
Where it runs, and in what currency
Wash Junkie runs in a web browser at app.washjunkie.com. There is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated.
It carries geographic data for roughly 250 countries, and each outlet quotes in the currency of the country it is in. Times are shown in that outlet’s own time zone, and phone numbers are validated against its country. Wash Junkie was not built for one market and does not assume one.
Who makes it
Wash Junkie is made by Washjunkie Limited. You can write to us at info@washjunkie.com, and a person reads it — there is no queue and no sales call waiting on the other side. The help centre documents every screen, step by step.
The product is young and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. There are no customer logos on this site and no testimonials, because there is nobody to quote yet. Everything stated here is checkable against the software.
