Comparison

Wash Junkie and CleanCloud.

CleanCloud is the established system in this category and it does more than Wash Junkie does. There are two things Wash Junkie does differently that are worth knowing about before you decide, and one of them is telling you the price at all.

Where these facts come from. Everything stated here about CleanCloud is taken from their own pricing page and their own home page, read on 11 August 2026. Nothing is taken from a review site or a third-party listing, and no price of theirs is reproduced — because they do not publish one. Check us against the links.

CleanCloud does not publish a price

Their pricing page names four plans — Lite, Pro, Grow, Grow+ — and states what each one allows in monthly order volume. It does not show a figure for any of them. A free trial of 14 days is offered, Grow+ carries a minimum commitment of twelve months, and businesses above the published volumes are asked to make contact for their own rate.

That is a commercial choice rather than an oversight, and plenty of good software is sold that way. It does mean you cannot work out what CleanCloud will cost your business from their website, and we are not going to guess on their behalf.

The plans are gated by how much work you do

CleanCloud planMonthly order allowanceWash Junkie
Lite500 orders a monthNo limit — there is no plan to exceed
Pro2,000 orders a monthNo limit — there is no plan to exceed
Grow3,000 orders a monthNo limit — there is no plan to exceed
Grow+10,000 orders a monthNo limit — there is no plan to exceed

This is the difference that shows up on a growing business. Crossing an order allowance moves you up a plan; the busiest published allowance is 10,000 orders a month, and above that you negotiate. Wash Junkie has no allowance to cross, because it does not sell plans — it counts the changes your team makes and charges 2 Wash Credits for each, which is $0.002. Doing twice as much work costs twice as much, in a straight line, with no step.

There is no per-person fee either, so putting a fourth person on the counter changes nothing, and no share of your revenue is taken. Every new business starts with 10,000 Wash Credits — 5,000 changes — and those do not expire. The whole price is on one page.

What CleanCloud does that Wash Junkie does not

This is the longer list, and if any line on it is something your business needs, the decision is already made.

  • It takes card payments. Their site describes accepting payments online, in person and in their app. Wash Junkie records what a customer paid you and never touches the money.
  • Your customers get an app and a website. They offer a branded app your customers download and a website builder, with order placement and progress tracking. Wash Junkie has neither; orders are taken by your team, on your screens.
  • Drivers get their own screens and routing. Their site describes an app for drivers with live routes, proof of delivery and messaging, plus automatic route planning. Wash Junkie assigns pickups and deliveries from the same dashboard everyone else uses, records no location at all, and cannot plan a route because it does not know where the van is.
  • More ways to reach a customer. They describe automatic updates by text, email, in-app message and WhatsApp. Wash Junkie sends text messages only, and only when you switch them on.
  • It connects to other software. Their site lists integrations with delivery platforms, accounting and payroll tools. Nothing connects to Wash Junkie from outside — there is no API key to issue and no webhook to subscribe to.
  • It has customers, and you can read them. CleanCloud states that more than 5,000 laundries and laundromats use it, and there are years of public reviews to go through. Wash Junkie is new. There is nobody to quote yet, which is why there are no testimonials anywhere on this site.

What Wash Junkie does differently

Two things, and they are narrow on purpose.

The price is published and it has no steps. You can read the rate, work out your own monthly cost before signing up, and know that a busy December costs proportionally more rather than moving you onto a different plan. There is no minimum term anywhere and nothing to commit to for twelve months.

It keeps working when the network does not. Every screen reads from a copy held on the device and every change queues and replays itself when the connection returns, without double-applying a payment. How that works. If your outlets are somewhere the power and the network are the same problem, this is the line on the page that matters most.

Which to choose

If you want your customers ordering from an app with your name on it, paying by card through the same system, and a driver following a planned route — buy CleanCloud, or something like it. Wash Junkie will not do those things this year and possibly not next, and a comparison page that implied otherwise would be wasting your afternoon.

Wash Junkie is worth a look if what you actually need is the counter, the floor, the staff and the money in one place; if you would rather know the price before you talk to anyone; if you do not want a monthly order allowance sitting over a growing business; or if your connection is not reliable enough to run a website-shaped system on.

Before you decide either way, the honest list of what Wash Junkie leaves out is on its own page. It is longer than this section.
